Landscape And...

"Landscape And…" features a semester's journey into the landscape and into the self. The exhibition showcases work from the Spring 2026 Landscape Painting class, including a rich collection of plein air paintings created at various locations around the valley.
The semester culminated in final projects, where each student chose a landscape that spoke to them emotionally and completed the phrase "Landscape And..." with a word or words of their own (for example, Landscape and Memory). Students carried forward the skills developed through plein air painting in the first half of the semester and applied them to these final pieces.
Alongside rich color, light, and each student's personal style, the exhibition captures a wide range of subject matter, from history to navigating grief and feelings of nostalgia.
