The School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University seeks to hire a Graduate Program Student Service Support Coordinator to support the MFA, MA and PhD graduate programs within the School of Art.
This position will advise current graduate students, assist prospective graduates, manage Teaching Assistant assignments and graduate work study positions, allocate scholarship awards, maintain process guides, facilitate alignment with the Graduate College processes, and manage communications with graduate students. The successful candidate will have excellent skills in communication, organization and time management including multitasking and prioritizing. The Graduate Program Student Service Support Coordinator interacts with diverse students, staff, faculty, alumni and external constituents to create positive relationships. This position tracks student success and promotes the success of our alumni through various modes of communication, including the School of Art website, eBlast, and newsletters. Under general supervision of the School of Art leadership, the Graduate Program Student Service Support Coordinator will coordinate the activities and functions of the School of Art’s current graduate programs and assist in the research for and establishment of new graduate programs. The Graduate Program Student Service Support Coordinator will utilize knowledge of the curriculum and co-curricular opportunities to support student success.
