Faculty Position


The School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University seeks to hire a full-time (1.00 FTE) 9-month (academic year) Lecturer in the Art Education program with an emphasis on all-level K-12 art teacher preparation and field observation, beginning August 2022. This position will serve online and/or in-person undergraduate students.

This position will serve online and/or in-person undergraduate students.


The School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University seeks to hire a full-time (1.00 FTE) 9-month (academic year) Lecturer in the Animation program with an emphasis on illustration, storyboarding, and first year experience courses, beginning August 2022. This position will serve both online and in-person undergraduate students.

The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding and sufficient enrollment. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load.
