Students earning a degree online in digital photography develop formal, conceptual and technical skills and learn how each element contributes to meaning in photography. The curriculum emphasizes creative and expressive photography as well as the history and theories of photography and is augmented by peer critique and programming that connects students to the contemporary context. Faculty mentor students as they develop an understanding of their own creative process and potential. The program culminates with a capstone class where students apply what they have learned to create a self-designed final project and portfolio.
