Educators' Summer Art Studio & Curriculum Workshop
Creating Innovative Pedagogy though Arts-Based Inquiry
The School of Art at Arizona State University is offering a 4-day studio art workshop for Art Educators. The 4-day workshop will offer a range of experimental art methods and multimedia experimentation along with inquiry-based curriculum development. Studio workshops include experiential drawing, expressive painting, and sculptural design with natural materials. The workshop is designed to give attendees an immersive studio art experience, where teachers will gain exposure and practice with a range of studio processes and develop them individually with open studio time and one-on-one feedback. The week will culminate in an open studio discussion and reception. The workshop also earns teachers with 30 hours of Continuing Professional Development hours. The workshop is open to educators of any discipline, but space is limited. All materials will be provided.
