Looking for enrichment, creativity, and artistic growth? Spend the weekend with the School of Art at Arizona State University exploring a wide range of studio practices. The Life-Learner Workshops will be offered in a variety of art forms including experimental ceramics, papermaking, floral design and more. The workshops are taught by ASU graduates and professional artists. All are welcome, from beginner to advanced levels of experience. All materials will be provided.
Workshop fee: $200. Payment in full is due when you register. This includes materials.

Fashion Illustration by Caroline Estelle www.carolineestelle.com March 23rd | Saturday | 9a.m. - 4p.m. (lunch break 12-1pm) - REGISTRATION CLOSEDIn this studio setting, you will learn to illustrate the figure from a live female model wearing fashion apparel. By utilizing methods of elongating, simplifying and stylizing the figure—including face, hands and feet—you will transform your model drawings into fashion design sketches. Limit 20 |

Build your own sculptural camera and photograph surreal scenes of the world around you, all while learning about optics and the magical world of light. You will learn to build their own camera, expose and develop photographs in the darkroom, and turn negatives into digital files for professional printing. Limit 12 |
