Art Faculty Associate
Job description:
Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts seeks Faculty Associates to teach the course offerings listed below. The courses are part of our BFA Art and BA Art programs in the School of Art.
The successful candidate(s) will teach in-person or online course, prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and assist students. Faculty Associates positions are one semester, non-benefits eligible, fixed-term appointment with no tenure implications, not to exceed .40 FTE. The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding and sufficient enrollment. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load. Individuals employed as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits eligible appointments at Arizona State University.

Required qualifications:
MFA in arts discipline AND two (2) years of evidence of professional activity in the field of art; OR ten (10) year of evidence of professional activity in the field of art; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
