Academic Facilities Specialist, Photography Studio Technician

The Academic Facilities Specialist, Photography Studio Technician manages and maintains facilities for the photography area in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts School of Art including affiliated classrooms, laboratories, analog and digital equipment (including fine art post-production and printing), processes, supervision and training of student workers, inventory of materials and supplies. This position ensures that studios are equipped, supplied and configured to support the academic and creative goals of faculty and student users. This role also monitors and maintains health, safety and security of studio facilities and ensures compliance with all relevant health and safety standards and regulations. They provide educational consulting services to faculty, students and staff, to support them with complex and technically advanced projects and assignments.
