If you are a BFA undergraduate student in a studio art concentration, you are required to participate in a senior exhibition and to submit a portfolio of images or documentation of animation or time-based work.
A photographer is available during the fall and spring semester of each year to shoot your work and assist in the production of your portfolio. A copy of your portfolio materials is deposited in the Visual Resources Collection and retained for class instruction and for publicity related to the School of Art and the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
You must enroll in the "ART 482: Senior Exhibitions and Portfolio" class during your final semester.
The senior exhibition and portfolio form must be returned to the Art Building, room 102 by the beginning of September, if you are graduating in December and by the end of October, if you are graduating in May.
The thesis exhibition in the ASU Herberger Institute School of Art is for Master of Fine Arts majors only. The thesis exhibition is the capstone experience concluding your academic career. It is planned and presented under the supervision of your MFA thesis committee.
