Intera/externa: Habitation Navigator

Exhibition runs Monday through Friday, Nov. 2 to 19.

Harry Wood Gallery is pleased to present "Intera/externa: Habitation Navigator," a MFA thesis exhibition by Erin Kuhn.

When hiding inside a house was no longer an option, I was forced to come out of my shell and walk to find resources that the environment was struggling to provide. "Intera/externa: Habitation Navigator" exhibits both the physical and mental states of fragility and sustainability. The duration of a time and place on earth is then recorded and juxtaposed with navigation of space in the night sky. It is the intent of this body of work to highlight these scars and the lines that are crossed across both land boundaries, corporeal boundaries, and species boundaries. I hope to instill inspiration for how these scars can be erased, and how divisions can be mended.
