"I’m From Here" presents work by artists who are grappling with generational identity and trauma, assimilation and cultural erasure. Their artwork explores contemporary American life through the personal experiences of people who are always at a cultural crossroads. The exhibition expresses the duality and complexity of one who shifts between American identity and an identity based on the familial country of origin. The artists included in this exhibition are Fernando Cabrera Gonzalez, Katherine Del Rosario, Mariah Moneda and Papay Solomon.
Join the artists for the opening reception on Tuesday, February 25 from 5 to 8 p.m.
