Exhibiting work by four artists, “De Terra” — Latin for “of the earth” — focuses on drawing inspiration from the earth and using raw materials to showcase works that demonstrate the modern processes and capabilities of a historic medium. Ancient civilizations utilized pottery and sculpture as forms of communication and storytelling. This tradition is expanded upon in the showing of four artistic and educational articulations of the contemporary natural world. You are invited to attend “De Terra,” a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics exhibition; an encapsulation of the wondrous possibilities of clay and mineral pigments.
