FacultyThe sculpture faculty in the ASU Herberger College School of Art sculpture department represent diverse perspectives on contemporary sculpture. All have extensive national and international exhibition records. Together they work closely with students to help them find their unique voice and personal interests and to move on to the next level of professional and artistic achievement. A leader in the field of neon art for more 20 years, James White’s sculpture Square Wave at the University of Northern Iowa was the largest neon sculpture ever produced. Assistant professor Hilary Harp creates sculptures and media projects that incorporate interactivity and video as well as traditional media. Professor Mary Neubauer combines an extraordinary knowledge of foundry practices with her interest in computer models of informational systems. Tom Eckert takes realism to new heights with his wood sculptures.
