As a student in the ASU Herberger College School of Art photography program, you develop technical and critical skills crucial to your success. Furthermore, you develop fluency in interpreting and discussing your own work as well as the work of other image-makers.

The program is not intended to train professional photographers or address photography as a business. However, many of the skills gathered within our courses benefit other applications of the medium. The program helps you develop your own creative vision as artists through the practice of photography.
