Welcome

The Museum Studies degree in the Herberger College School of Art at Arizona State University has a strong focus on curatorial and management areas of the museum world, which prepares students for careers in museums, galleries and arts organizations.

In addition to art history courses, the program includes interdisciplinary coursework from departments in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Public Programs, the College of Human Services and the W.P. Carey School of Business. Internships are available at a wide range of arts organizations, including museums, galleries, historical societies, auction houses and public art programs, in Arizona and elsewhere.

The program is further supplemented with the proximity and availability of the ASU Art Museum.
