Exhibition Information
Unless otherwise indicated as the entrant, you may submit one work per exhibition. The piece should be completely planned and constructed by you while enrolled in the ASU Herberger Institute School of Art.
Each work must be labeled with your name and the title of the piece before delivery to the gallery.
All work delivered to the gallery for exhibition must be ready to exhibit:
- Two-dimensional: Framed work must have wire attached to the back. Please indicate the top of your work by drawing an arrow to the top and writing the word TOP. Clip-on frames may be used. If no frame is desired, you must provide all materials necessary to install the work properly. Glass must be cut to the proper size and cleaned before being brought to the gallery.
- Three-dimensional: Please indicate front and back, top and bottom. You must supply extension cords, tape or other installation materials needed to install the work. The gallery has a limited supply of pedestals available.
All frame support and backing for any work must be ready on the day of delivery.
Detailed installation instructions must be written with diagrams if necessary.
If the gallery staff questions the installation instructions, method or hardware, either the piece will not be installed or you will be asked to install the piece and be responsible for any damage or breakage that occurs.
You must have everything that will be needed for installation at the time of delivery. Our installation schedule does not allow for late delivery.
Special requirements and instructions should be discussed with the gallery coordinator prior to delivery deadline. There will be no extensions to delivery deadline.
Entry forms/applications must be received by 5 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the Friday installation. SUBMISSIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Work should be delivered to the gallery between 5-5:30 p.m. on the Friday afternoon of the installation. (Note: For the Undergraduate Juried Exhibition, the work will be selected that same evening and pieces jurors do not select will be returned to you.)
There will be an opening reception on the Monday evening, 7-9 p.m.
Work should be picked up between 3-4 p.m. on the closing Friday. There will be no storage after 5 p.m.
